Bio


Fabien Versavau is part of a new generation of European leaders committed to using technology to respond to the challenges facing our societies. Passionate about new technologies, Fabien has 15 years of experience in the digital field, starting his career at Ford and then Renault. He became Director of European Development at LeGuide.com and SNCF Voyages International. From 2011 to 2016, Fabien Versavau held the position of Digital Marketing Director at Le Figaro and simultaneously Managing Director of Ticketac.com, with the aim of developing digital and e-commerce activities. In 2016, Fabien joined Rakuten France as Deputy Managing Director and fully contributed to the adaptation of the group's global strategy, including the loyalty program launch in France. He became CEO of Rakuten France in 2018 and deeply transformed the company, supporting merchant digitization and circular economy while developing cashback use cases in Europe. He is also an Executive Officer of the Rakuten Group. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESC Clermont Ferrand and an MBA from ESSEC & Mannheim Business School.
