Bio

Charlotte Reed is a Reporter and CNBC’s France and Spain Correspondent, based in London, Charlotte joined CNBC International in 2005 and has held several positions in the newsroom since. Starting in CNBC’s Paris bureau, Charlotte joined the ‘Squawk Box Europe’ production team in London before moving to the planning desk as a news editor. In that capacity Charlotte produced profile events including EU summits, general elections across Europe and the World Economic Forum in Davos. Charlotte eventually returned to focus on France as a reporter covering both corporate and political stories, in addition to Spain. Charlotte has an MA in Contemporary European studies from the University of Bath and an MA in Journalism from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
