Bio
Yannick Jadot was born on 27 July 1967 and is a Green MEP. Yannick Jadot has been a member of the Greens/EFA group since his election in 2009. During his terms of office, he has focused mainly on climate issues and free trade agreements. He is currently a member of the INTA committee and substitute member of the ENVI committee. Yannick Jadot has never held any elected office other than that of MEP. He has been nominated twice (2017 and 2022) by his party EELV to represent it in the French presidential election. In 2019, he was also chosen to head the French list for the European elections. After studying economics and international trade at the University of Paris-Dauphine, Yannick Jadot worked for various international cooperation NGOs. He lived in Africa and Asia for several years. In 2002, he became director of campaigns for Greenpeace France. He left this post in 2008 when he entered politics with the Europe Ecologie list (supported by Les Verts) led by Dany Cohn-Bendi
