Philippe MAILLARD

Bio

Philippe Maillard is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He joined Lyonnaise des Eaux in 1993 and held various management positions in the Suez Environnement Group, now Suez, until the end of 2019. In October 2011, Philippe Maillard was appointed CEO of Lyonnaise des Eaux. He becomes a member of the Executive Committee of Suez Environnement. In September 2015, he was appointed Managing Director of Recycling & Valorisation France and Deputy Managing Director of Recycling & Valorisation Europe within the SUEZ Group. The activity represents a managed perimeter of 3 billion Euros and includes 18,000 employees. In March 2019, he was appointed Deputy CEO for France, following the merger of the Water and Waste activities. Since 2 January 2020, Philippe Maillard has been Managing Director of the Apave Group, an international group specialising in risk management. The group employs OVER 13000 people and has a turnover of 1 billion Euros. He is also Vice-President of Filiance, formerly Coprec, the professional federation of the sector
