Océane Herrero is a POLITICO reporter working on the newsletter Paris Influence. Prior to that, she worked for Le Figaro, where she covered business and economics news, taking a more pointed interest in the tech sector. Océane has also done her fair share of freelancing, and has contributed to Le Monde’s M magazine, Slate, L’Express and more after an apprenticeship at L’Opinion newspaper. She started her career in La Rochelle, at Sud Ouest newspaper. Océane Herrero is a journalism graduate from ESJ Lille, and also studied in Toulouse and Nottingham. She speaks a little Mandarin, and published the book “Le Système TikTok” in April.
