Général Michel FRIEDLING

Bio

A former general in the French air and space force, fighter pilot, aeronautical engineer, graduate of the École de guerre and auditor of the IHEDN (Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale), Michel Friedling has held various operational and central management positions. He was one of the key players in the development of the French Defence Space Strategy (July 2019) before becoming the first French Space Commander. He is currently co-founder and CEO of the spacetech company Look Up Space, which has just raised the largest seed funding round in the French spacetech sector. He is also founder and chairman of Dragonfly Space Partners, a consultancy specialising in space applications and capabilities. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of E-SPACE, a spacetech founded by Greg Wyler, a pioneer in satellite constellations.
