Bio
Emmanuel was appointed CEO of Morgan Stanley France and Chairman of Morgan Stanley France Holding in March 2021. He is also Head of the Transportation and Infrastructure Group for EMEA. He started his professional career as a Government Commissioner at the Administrative Court dealing with hospital liability law and aliens law. In 2001, he joined Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. He was appointed Managing Director in 2007. Among his most significant assignments, Emmanuel advised Air-France-KLM, CMA-CGM, SNCF, the IPO of EDF and ADP, the creation of the Strategic Investment Fund and various international transport and infrastructure companies. From 1996 to 2017, he was a lecturer and professor at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris). He was a member of the school's board of directors from 2000 to 2013. Emmanuel is laureate of the “Concours Général”, holds masters degrees in public law and private law from Université Panthéon-Assas, is graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (1996). He obtained an MBA from INSEAD (2000).
