Bio

Bernard Sananès has over 25 years' professional experience in consultancy, communication and research. In June 2015, he set up ELABE, a research and consultancy firm that helps major companies and institutions analyse opinions and their communication strategies. ELABE now employs 25 people and has an innovative positioning "Objectivated Consultancy". He was Chairman of the CSA polling institute (Bolloré Group) for 4 years. He was previously Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the EDF Group. From 2005 to the end of 2009, Bernard Sananès was Chief Executive Officer of Euro RSCG C&O (Havas Group), a global communications consultancy which he joined in 1995. From 1993 to 1995, he was Communications Adviser to the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. A graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques d'Aix en Provence and the Institut Pratique de Journalisme, Bernard began his career as a journalist, then as communications officer for a parliamentary group at the Assemblée Nationale. A regular partner of BFMTV and Les Echos, he is frequently called upon on the "C'est Dans l'Air" programme to decipher political news.
