Closing – Words of hopes
Overview
On the one hand, there’s the issue of climate change: a source of immense anxiety, there’s the ongoing war in Europe. And beyond that, other wars. On the other hand, there is hope. Words of hope, and above all, deeds. There are those who resist or fight for the democracy that some take for granted, when in fact it is still to be defended. There are the promises of technology. We know the risks, but AI also opens incredible possibilities for progress in many fields, starting with healthcare. Above all, there is the appetite to act, to build, to move forward on the part of all young people who intend to re-invent their relationship to work and to live together. And there’s still a lot to be done in this area, where public services are lacking and places for socializing are almost non-existent. Re-enchanting the city, our territories, and our workplaces, with a balanced combination of remote and face-to-face activities, is what enables us to project ourselves into the future, to make the future desirable.
