Bio
Valérie Rabault is member of the French National Assembly (Assemblée nationale), elected in 2012 and reelected in 2017 and 2022. Since June 2022, she serves as First Vice-President of the French National Assembly, in charge of international relations. From April 2018 to June 2022, she served as President of the Socialist Group. From April 2014 to June 2017, she served as general rapporteur for budget and was the first woman elected to this position. Valérie Rabault is an engineer graduated from the “Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées” and the MBA “Collège des Ingénieurs”. From 1998 to 2012, she worked in the banking sector where she was head of Market Prospective & Business risk for Equity & Commodity derivatives (GECD), member of the GECD Executive Committee at BNP Paribas CIB. She has co-published "La France contre-attaque" (ed Odile Jacob), "Les 30 glorieuses sont devant nous" (ed Rue Fromentin) and "Contre la mort de la gauche".
