Bio

Philippe Setbon, CEO Ostrum AM and Chairman, AFG Philippe Setbon has been CEO of Ostrum Asset Management since November 2019 and Chairman of the AFG since June 2022 of which he was Vice-Chairman since May 2017. Philippe started his career in 1990 as a financial analyst at Barclays Bank in Paris. Between 1993 and 2003, Philippe Setbon worked for the AZUR-GMF Group, first as a European equity manager, then as head of asset management. He then joined Rothschild & Cie Gestion as head of equity portfolio management before joining the Generali Group in 2004 where he held several management positions, including Managing Director of Generali Investments France, CEO of Generali Investments Europe Sgr, and Chief Investment Officer of the Generali Group. In 2013, he joined Groupama Asset Management as Managing Director, a position he held until 2019. Philippe Setbon holds a master's degree in finance from Paris-Dauphine, a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in finance from Paris-Dauphine and is a graduate of the Société Française des Analystes Financiers (SFAF).
