Bio

Marylise Léon is General Secretary of the CFDT since June 2022. Prior to thaht she has been Deputy General Secretary of the CFDT since the Rennes Congress in June 2018. She was responsible for coordinating demand action policy, employment issues and securing career paths, external relations, inter-union relations and the Living Power Pact. She joined the confederal executive committee in June 2014, as national secretary responsible in particular for changes to the rules of social dialogue, sustainable development policy, industrial policies, and coordination on CSR and corporate governance. Coming from the Chemicals and Energy federation, where she was federal secretary, she previously held the position of safety and environment manager in industry.
