Jérôme WIROTIUS

Bio

Managing Director of Biogaran since January 2021, Jérôme Wirotius has over twenty-five years of experience most of which has been in the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Biogaran, a leading French drug-maker specialized in generics and biosimilar medicines, he managed the Pharmacy activity of Mylan laboratory in France. He previously contributed to the creation and development of strong brands in consumer goods, cosmetics and generic, OTC and biological drugs. Having started his career with Mars and Pepsico, he then held management positions, notably within the L'Oréal, Bayer and Urgo Healthcare groups before successfully founding his own company. Before joining Mylan, Jérôme was President for France of Hartmann Group. He holds a degree in economics and mathematics from the Sorbonne and graduated from NEOMA Business School Reims. Alongside his professional commitments, Jérôme Wirotius is also colonel of the French military reserve of the Gendarmerie Nationale.
