Hervé MONTJOTIN

Bio

Hervé Montjotin is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (agrégé in Social Sciences) and holds a master's degree from ESCP. He began his career in 1989 with Bossard Consultants. In 1995, he joined the Norbert Dentressangle group. From 1995 to 2015, 20 years during which the group's turnover grew from 300 million to 5 billion euros, he was successively CEO of HR and Organization, CEO in charge of the Transport Division (2005) and Chairman of the Executive Board (2012). He is CEO of the SOCOTEC group since September 2016. From 2017 to 2021, the SOCOTEC group has undergone a profound transformation that has taken it from €500 to €900 million in revenues and from 5,000 to 9,000 employees in 23 countries, while improving its profitability rate and geographical balance. The weight of France represented 90% of the turnover at the beginning of 2017 compared to 47% at the beginning of 2023. As a pioneer in Sustainability for the built environment, the group has also been able to develop in risk management related to buildings and consulting in the integrity of construction assets, infrastructure and industrial equipment to become a major international player.
