Alberto NADAL

Secretary of State for Energy - Spain

He has a Degree in Law and a Degree in Economics from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).

He is a member of the elite civil servants body of Economist of the Spanish State.

At the Ministry of Economy and Finance he has held positions as Deputy Director General at the Treasury, as Financial Policy and Economic Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance.

He was Director General of the Official Credit Institute and Secretary General for Foreign Trade.

Before joining CEOE in 2009, he was appointed head of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Spanish Embassy in Washington DC.

In June 2011 he was nominated Deputy General Secretary for Social, Economic and International Affairs.

In January 2013, he was appointed Secretary of State for Energy by the Spanish Government.
