Nicolas MOREAU

Mr. Nicolas Moreau is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique  and has an actuarial  degree from  the

Centre d’Etuds Actuarielles. From 1988 to 1991, he was an auditor  with Arthur  Andersen in Paris. ln

1991, he joined  AXA as Vice-President of the Finance Department and was appointed Senior Vice­ President  of the AXA Group Finance Department in 1994. ln 1997, Mr.  Nicolas Moreau joined  AXA lnvestment Managers and became Chief Executive Officer of AXA Rosenberg in 1999. ln March  2000, he became Chief Operating Officer of AXA lnvestment Managers. He was appointed  Vice-Chairman of AXA Rosenberg in January 2001. Mr. Moreau also coordinated the private  equity business as weil as the relationship between AXA lnvestment Managers and the insurance companies of the AXA Group. ln  April  2002, Mr.  Nicolas Moreau  was  promoted as Chief  Executive Officer  of  AXA lnvestment Managers  and, following his appointment as Group Chief Executive Officer  of AXA UK, he became non-executive  Chairman  of  the  Board  of  AXA lnvestment  Managers.  Mr.  Nicolas  Moreau  was appointed to the Board of AXA UK pic in July 2006. From 2006 to 2010, he was Group Chief Executive of AXA UK. Since 2003, he has been a member of the AXA Executive Committee and since April 2010, a member  of the AXA Management Committee. On October 2010,he was appointed  Chief Executive Officer of AXA France and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer on March  2012. On January 1st, 2012, Mr. Nicolas Moreau took on the additional responsibility of overseeing the worldwide operations  of AXA Assistance and AXA Global Direct.
