Patrick ARTUS

A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, of Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de lʹAdminstration Economique and of Institut dʹEtudes Politiques de Paris, Patrick ARTUS is the Chief economist and member of the executive committee of NATIXIS.
Patrick began his career in 1975 in economic forecasting and modeling. He worked at the Economics Department of the OECD (1980) and served as the Head of Research at the ENSAE. In 1982 he became a professor at Paris Dauphine University where he taught a seminar on research. Throughout his career, Patrick has been a visiting professor at a number of Universities including, Dauphine, ENSAE, Centre des Hautes Etudes de lʹArmement, Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, HEC Lausanne. He is now the Professor of Economics at University Paris I Panthéon‐Sorbonne. He combines these responsibilities with his research work.
Patrick ARTUS is a member of the council of economic advisors to the French PrimeMinister. He is also a member of the Board at Total and Ipsos.
