Chairman - Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Jean-Paul VERMES is the CEO of VMS France, an executive search company, since 2005.

He previously was CEO of the executive search company, COGEPLAN, which later became TMP Worldwide Executive resourcing and then Hudson Global Resources, Executive Search Company – from 1978 to 2005.

Jean-Paul VERMES is President of the Paris Ile-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry after having been Vice-President (Education) from 2005 to 2012 (CCI Paris) and from 2013 to 2015 (CCI Paris – Ile-de-France).

Jean-Paul VERMES is Chairman of Hôpital Foch and he is also Honorary President of the Syntec – French Association of Search and Selection Companies – having been President of the “Chambre Syndicale Nationale des Conseils en Recrutement” during 15 years (before its merger with Syntec).

He is a “Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur », and « Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite »  nationals distinctions.
