Since 2013, Jacques Le Pape is Executive Vice-President Corporate Secretary of the Air France-KLM Group.

Aged 49, Jacques Le Pape graduated in Physics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. He is also a member of the French Institute of Actuaries and holds a post-graduate diploma from the Paris School of Economics.

From 2011 to 2013, he held the position of general inspector in the French Finance Ministry Inspection Office, after having been deputy chief of staff for Christine Lagarde at the French Ministry for Finance for four years.

Between 2003 and 2007, he held the successive positions of advisor to Dominique Perben at the Ministry of Justice and Ministry for Transport and subsequently to Thierry Breton at the Ministry of Finance. From 2000 to 2002, he was Director of the Office of Multilateral Development Institutions at the Treasury Department in Paris.

Before that, he was Deputy General Rapporteur at the French Competition Council and also held differnt positions at the Treasury Department and at the Insurance Supervisory Commission.
