Alain de Chalvron is editor in chief and diplomatic correspondent on France televisions channels. Until April he was correspondent to Asia, based in Beijing for six years. Before that he was correspondent to the US based in Washington for seven years (2003-2010), Middle East correspondent, (covering notably the war in Irak and the second intifada in the Gaza Strip) and corespondent in Rome. He started his career as correspondent to Beirut during the Lebanese civil war and Israeli invasion(1980-1983)

He also served as managing director of news in three major medias in France, France2tv, radio Monte Carlo, Radio France international.

His has a master degree in Law and is graduated from the « Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris ».
