Rencontres Économiques d'Aix-en-Provence 2016
The 16th edition of Les Rencontres économiques d’Aix-en-Provence will be dedicated to the role of a country in a globalized world. As a major French event the focus will be partly on France. However, the idea is neither to celebrate nor to blame any country.
It aims to provide substantive discussions about the future of countries in a turbulent and unpredictable world. Discussions will be based on various experiences, profitable or not, international or local around the challenges countries are facing about territories, identities, social contracts, and economic opportunities and policies, while digital is still shaping a new era.
More than 220 speakers from all around the world will be discussing various topics such as the place of a given country in the global economy.
Le Cercle des économistes will make a concluding statement to bring the 3 days of discussions to a close.
