Yazid SABEG

Chairman - Altis International

An entrepreneur, Yazid Sabeg is the President of CS Communication & Systems, a leading French Group specializing in large and complex IT projects in France and abroad.

Since 2010, he is Chairman of Altis International and YSI Capital, including Altis Semiconductor a subsidiary. Altis Semiconductor is a long established independent and innovative European based specialty foundry, and is well positioned to address the growing demand for differentiated high quality semiconductor processes supporting very specific and demanding customer requirements.

He is also well-known for his long-standing experience and in-depth knowledge of the oil industry and of oil producing countries.

He is deeply involved in the social domain, especially within the Agence Nationale pour la Rénovation Urbaine (ANRU).  He has been promoting the idea of positive actions towards minorities (see his book : Discrimination positive)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Ph.D. in Economics

Mr. Sabeg began his professional career at UBAF (Crédit Lyonnais subsidiary) in 1973, then joined the government agency DATAR, where he worked from 1974 to 1976 as well as within the Center for Analysis and Forecast of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

1978-1981: Advisor to the Chairman of Spie Batignolles

1981-1987: Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Enerfinance, a consulting firm specialized in energy and oil economics.

1988: Managing Director of Euris

1989: Chief Executive Officer of Quadral, an industrial and financial company

In 1991, he assumed leadership of the industrial group Compagnie des Signaux (today CS Communication & Systems)
