Paris Bureau Chief - Financial Times

Anne-Sylvaine Chassany is the Paris bureau chief for the Financial Times. After 3 years at Paribas in Paris and New York, she joined French daily newspaper La Tribune in 2001 to write about financial institutions. While there, she reported on the bankruptcy of Enron. She joined Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal in 2005 as energy reporter, and Bloomberg News two years later in Paris and London, where she reported on French industry and European financial institutions. She joined the Financial Times in London in 2012. A graduate of French business school HEC, she won the ‘OnetoWach’ award from The Work Foundation’s WorkWorld Media Awards in 2006 for ‘Heat builds on Mittal to improve safety and wages’ following a reporting trip to Kazakhstan. She is the co-author of ‘Enron, la faillite qui ébranla l’Amérique,’ published in 2003.
