Tatsuo Masuda specializes in energy/climate geopolitics and public policymaking at the Nagoya University of Commerce & Business in Japan. He also serves as a board member at Tokyo-based global fuse manufacturer SOC Corporation, advisory council chairman of FairCourt Capital in London and senior adviser of Elion House in Singapore. He previously taught at Dauphine University Paris on energy geopolitics and the Tokyo Institute of Technology on institutional innovation. He has a long career in energy policymaking and implementation at the International Energy Agency and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan, and has energy business experience as vice president of Japan National Oil Corporation (2002-2005). Professor Masuda speaks at international conferences on various topics, with a strong current interest in the new dimension of energy and environmental policies. He also contributes to the World Economic Forum as member of the Global Agenda Council on New Energy Architecture.
