Henrik ENDERLEIN
Professor of Political Economy - Herti School of Governance
Henrik Enderlein works on Economic and Monetary Union in Europe, Fiscal Policy, Sovereign Debt Management and Sovereign Defaults, and Multi-Level Governance. He is a member of the independent German Fiscal Council. In 2012 he was the coordinator of the “Padoa-Schioppa Group” under the patronage of Jacques Delors and Helmut Schmidt, which published a report on the future of economic integration in Europe “Completing the Euro – A Roadmap towards Fiscal Union in Europe” in 2012. In 2011-2012 he was an expert member of the German parliamentary study commission on “Growth, Wealth, and the Quality of Life”. He held the Fulbright Distinguished Chair of Contemporary German Studies at Duke University’s Political Science Department in 2006-2007, and the Pierre Keller Visiting Professor at Harvard Kennedy School in 2012-2013.
