Investing in the Environment: an Emergency

Session 10

The impacts of global warming on economy are still unclear but they will affect global demographic, environmental and political balances. What considerations can engage citizens over the world to exert pressure on their governments to make concrete commitments at global, European, national and local levels? How to make sure that the Paris conference in 2015 will represent a major step forward? What should be the key guidelines of energy policies at a time when there is no agreement (or no talk) on the price of CO2 or carbon tax? The most attentive players will be able to anticipate and capture these new opportunities.
