Bio

Stéphane Dedeyan is Chief Executive Officer of CNP Assurances. A graduate of HEC, the French Institute of Actuaries and the AVIRA cycle at INSEAD, he began his career as a consultant with Eurosept and then AT Kearney. In 1996, he joined Athéna Assurances, in charge of building the CARENE captive brokerage division, which switched to AGF/Allianz when Athéna was acquired. He joined Generali in 1999 as a professional risk inspector within Generali Proximité, where he was successively appointed Director of Companies and Partnerships, Commercial Director, and then Deputy Managing Director. In 2006, he became General Manager of Generali Patrimoine and a member of the COMEX of Generali France. He gradually expanded his responsibilities to all savings activities and, for all Generali's activities in France, to digital, marketing and distribution. From January 2014 to December 2017, he was deputy CEO of Generali France, in charge of all insurance activities. At the same time, from 2011 to 2017, he chaired the Life and Health Insurance Commission of the FFA (French Insurance Federation). During 2018, he advised startups and investment funds in their development strategy. In October 2018, he joined the VYV Group, where he was the CEO since February 2019. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CNP Assurances by the Board of Directors on February 16, 2021, and took up his position at the end of the Shareholders' Meeting on April 16, 2021. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of La Banque Postale.
