Patricia Augier is a Professor at the University of Aix-Marseille, and a researcher at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). Her research interests include development issues (women's autonomy and bargaining power, firm behaviour in open contexts, etc.) and international trade issues (global value chains, trade barriers, non-tariff measures, rules of origin and cumulation, customs duties, etc.). She has been involved as an expert in numerous reports of international institutions (United Nations, World Bank, African Development Bank). She was the scientific coordinator of FEMISE (Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Research Institutes) from September 2015 to June 2020.
