Maya Bacache-Beauvallet is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ULM), agrégée of social sciences and economics, doctor of economics and holder of an HDR in economics from the University of Paris 1 Sorbonne. She was a teacher and researcher at ENS (Ulm) and a professor in economics at Télécom Paris. She has been director of the Chair of Labour at PSE (Paris School of Economics) and was member of the CAE (Conseil d’analyse économique), the COE (conseil d’orientation pour l’emploi) and CSALab. She was also a member of the HCFP (haut conseil des finances publiques). Her research topics are, on the one hand, public employment and public policies, and, on the other hand, the transformations of the digital economy. She has published in top international journals on those topics and many books. She is currently a member of the ARCEP College (French Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications, Posts and the distribution of the Press) and researcher at Cepremap.
