Bio
Marie Desbuquois, born in 2001, is a student-engineer at CentraleSupélec since 2019. She is completing a gap year consisting of two internships: one on the prospective study of the French hydrogen ecosystem, the other at the Direction de l'Administration pénitentiaire, in the management of innovative and eco-responsible projects aimed at improving living, visiting and working conditions in detention. These internships confirmed her desire to work in the ecological transition, in the decarbonisation of companies and administrations. She would like to combine this with associative activities, following on from a voluntary mission in the Food Bank, and a commitment to equal opportunities during tutoring sessions in disadvantaged high schools, supported by the OSER association. Marie is also passionate about literature, as evidenced by her participation in the CentraleSupélec book club and student newspaper. She is particularly happy to take part in the Aix-en-Provence Economic Forum because of its cross-disciplinary nature and its fruitful debates on the major changes in the world.
