Bio
Born on March 12, 1964, Nicolas Gomart is a graduate of Essec (1985) and the Centre des Hautes Études d'Assurances (CHEA). In 1987, he began his career as an options trader at Banque Indosuez, then became a partner and co-founder of Transoptions Finance of the Crédit Agricole Group. In 1996, he joined Dexia Asset Management as Director of Alternative and Structured Management, then Director of Diversified and Multi-management in 2000. He joined ADI Alternative Investments in 2003 to create the incubation subsidiary NewAlpha. He became Deputy CEO and member of the Executive Committee of ADI in 2006 and Deputy CEO of OFI Asset Management in 2009. In 2012, he joined the Matmut Group where he successively held the positions of Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of accounting and investments and, in 2013, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of central resources. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group in April 2015. He is also Vice-Chairman of Matmut, Chairman of Matmut Mutualité and Matmut Mutualité Livre 3, Vice-Chairman of the Fédération Nationale de la Mutualité Française (FNMF), Chairman of the Board of Directors of OFI Holding and member of the Supervisory Board of Inter Mutuelles Assistance (IMA). Finally, Nicolas Gomart is a director of ADAF (Association pour le Développement de l'Assurance Française).
