Feeding people
Overview
Feeding the population in quantity and quality is a key factor in development throughout the world. “Feeding the world’s populations” sets out the challenges of increasing agricultural production to meet the needs of a growing population, but also the challenges of improving and structuring the agricultural and agri-food sectors, in line with the needs and expectations of consumers, to improve the food sovereignty of each country. Demographic changes, by their very heterogeneous character according to the different regions of the world, pose many challenges including that of feeding populations.
