Biographie
After the literary preparatory classes, Benoît Teste moved towards a degree in history and geography at the University of Toulouse. He obtained a CAPES in history and geography in 2001, then an agrégation passed internally in 2007. In 2001, he joined the SNES FSU as a union member and then became an activist. He sat on various bodies and academic bodies in Lyon. As of 2010, Benoît took on national responsibilities within the SNES-FSU, and since 2016, he sits on the Common Council of the Civil Service, as well as on the Higher Council of the State Civil Service. Since the start of the 2019 school year, Benoît Teste has been in post at the Suger high school in Saint-Denis (93) and was elected Secretary General of the FSU on 13 December 2019.
