Emmanuel Cugny began his career as a radio journalist in the local and regional media. He held the various posts of reporter, presenter of newspapers and press reviews and animator of magazines, firstly on behalf of the European Broadcasting Corporation (bank of programs for local radios) from 1991 to 1992, then for the account of local Radio France branches the following year.
In 1993, Emmanuel Cugny became editor and presenter of news reports on RFI (Radio France Internationale). The same year, he joined the Radio Classique team as presenter and reporter. From 1994 to 1999, he occupied the section from 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., with a daily newspaper, and a live interview with personalities from the business and political worlds. In 1999, he became Head of Information, and of economic and general writing. Finally, in 2001, he was appointed editor-in-chief of Radio Classique, then deputy managing editor in 2005.
Between 2003 and 2006, Emmanuel Cugny created and managed Canal Académie, a web-radio / program bank for the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, hosted by the Institut de France.
Emmanuel Cugny has chaired the AJEF (Association of Economic and Financial Journalists) since April 2017.
He is the author of the "Absurd and sassy little dictionary of economics and finance" (Editions Féret).
