Daniel SCHULTHESS
Professor, History of Western Philosophy - University of Neuchâtel
My publications are mainly concerned with modern European philosophy, including Leibniz and Thomas Reid. My teaching has a broad scope, from the Ancient Greeks to present-day philosophy. I have a strong interest for the connections between philosophy and the social sciences.
I have served my university as dean of the Faculty of Humanities (1999-2001) and as vice-rector for Academic Affairs (2004-2008, 2016 to this day).
I have contributed for many years to Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, AUF (2001-2017).
