Does Science Tell the Truth?

The division between what we know and what we think we know has not ceased to haunt philosophers, and, from Socrates to Wittgenstein and Descartes, the criteria of truth have not ceased to be examined and discussed: what is certain, is it what has resisted all doubts? Or is that what we can’t imagine doubting? Is the truth hovering over the world or is it being put into practice? Can we trust science to discover it?
