Ian GOLDIN
Professor of Globalisation and Development - Oxford University
Ian Goldin is Professor of Globalization and Development, Director of the Oxford Martin Program on Technological and Economic Change and founding Director of the Oxford Martin School at Oxford University.
Prior to that, from 2001 to 2006 Ian served as Director of Policy and then as Vice President at the World Bank. From 1996 to 2001, he was Chief Executive of the Development Bank of Southern Africa and Economic Advisor to President Nelson Mandela. Prior to that, Ian had served as Principal Economist at the EBRD and Director of Program at the OECD Development Centre.
Ian Goldin holds a BA and BSc from the University of Cape Town, an MSc from the London School of Economics and a MA and DPhil from the University of Oxford.
