Fabien BARDINET

Fabien Bardinet is and aviation enthusiast and is keen on new technology and innovation.
After graduating from ESCEM School of Business and Management, he started his career in auditing and joined Cora in Hungary as a Deputy Director to the Administrative and Chief Financial Officer, and then the Sofinco Group in the international management team. Before joining Balyo, Fabien served as a vice president at Aldebaran Robotics (now Softbank Robotics), a specialized humanoid robotic firm. In 2012, he founded a start-up on connected objects.
Balyo’s CEO since 2013, Fabien sees Balyo as a company offering “breakthrough innovation through technology that offers highly flexible robots at incredibly low prices – a source of significant competitiveness” while significantly maintaining the employment rate in France. In 2017, he successfully launched Balyo’s IPO on Euronext Paris.

Balyo transforms standard forklift trucks into standalone intelligent robots thanks to its breakthrough proprietary Driven by BalyoTM technology. The geoguidance navigation system developed by Balyo allows vehicles equipped with the system to locate their position and navigate autonomously inside buildings. Within the automated handling vehicle market, Balyo has entered into two strategic agreements with Kion Group AG (Linde Material Handling’s parent company) and Hyster-Yale Group, two major operators in the material handling sector. Balyo is present in three major geographic regions (Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific).
