Captivated by the complexities of the international education landscape and the challenges as well as the opportunity for digital supported learning, Carla has been involved in the Digital Education and Learning space for over 15 years.

Carla was Global Digital Director at Cambridge University Press Education before deciding to give something back and mentor edTech start-ups and organisations across the world. Her staunch belief in technology as a catalyst to access to learning keeps Carla inspired. It drove her to join the UCL – Institute of Education, as Director of Futures where she has been running Educate, an initiative founded by Prof. Rose Luckin that strives to bring evidence to edTech product development through mentoring and training of 250 start-ups.
