Minggang ZHANG

Bio

Minggang ZHANG began his career as a research engineer and later became a marketing director at TRT, a telecommunications systems subsidiary of Philips, which was subsequently acquired by Lucent. From 1998 to 2002, he was assigned to Boston to establish the marketing department focused on Asia and China. Upon returning to France, he left the company to co-found Optogone, a startup specializing in optical components. After Optogone was acquired, he joined Huawei in 2007 as the director of the Orange France Account Department and then joined the executive committee of the company in 2008. In 2011, he assumed the portfolio of Groupe Bouygues and held the position until 2017 when he was promoted to Deputy General Manager. 62-year-old, with a strong affinity for French culture, Minggang ZHANG pursued his higher education at the Institut polytechnique de Grenoble after obtaining a degree from Canton Normal University in China. He graduated with an engineering degree in 1990.
