Bio

Jean-Louis Girodolle, Managing Director of Lazard Frères in France and co-head of the investment bank in Europe. Jean-Louis Girodolle joined Lazard in January 2007 as a Managing Partner. He was appointed Managing Director of Lazard Frères in France in 2019 and co-head of the investment bank in Europe in 2023. He is involved in a wide range of financial advisory assignments in France and Europe for large companies and national and international investors. Before joining Lazard, Mr. Girodolle was Deputy Director at the French Government Shareholding Agency from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Girodolle began his career in 1994 at the Inspection Générale des Finances. He then held various positions within the Ministry of Finance from 1998 to 2003, as Head of the Treasury Markets Office, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the public sector, and Deputy Head of the Public Banks Office. Mr. Girodolle is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration.
