Hervé MONJOTIN

Bio

Hervé Montjotin is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and holds a master's degree from ESCP. He began his career in 1989 with Bossard Consultants. In 1995, he joined the Norbert Dentressangle Group. From 1995 to 2015, 20 years during which the group's turnover grew from 300 million to 5 billion euros, he was successively Managing Director for HR and Organisation, Managing Director in charge of the Transport Division (2005) and Chairman of the Executive Board (2012). He has been CEO of the SOCOTEC Group since september 2016. From 2017 to 2023, the SOCOTEC Group underwent an in-depth transformation that took it from €500 billion to €1.35 billion in turnover and from 5,000 to 12,000 employees in 26 countries, while improving its profitability and geographical balance. France accounted for 90% of sales at the start of 2017, compared with 46% at the start of 2024. A pioneer in building sustainability, the group, which originally started out in building control, has also developed into a major international player in building risk management and consultancy services for the integrity of built assets, infrastructures and industrial installations.
