Fauziah ZEN

Bio

Fauziah Zen is a Senior Economist at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. From 2012 to 2014, she was appointed as Deputy Head of the Socio-Humanity Commission in the Indonesia National Research Council. She also served as the Advisory Team to Indonesia’s Finance Minister on Fiscal Decentralization from 2009 to 2014. Currently, she also acts as the Chief Economist for the Republic of Indonesia’s Nusantara Capital City Authority. Fauziah has over 18 years of experience in public finance, infrastructure development, and regulatory impact assessments. Her current research interests include connectivity, fiscal policy, climate-adaptive infrastructure, fiscal policy for energy transition, and infrastructure finance. Fauziah holds a Bachelor and Master of Engineering from ITB, as well as a Master and PhD in Public Economics from Hitotsubashi University in Japan and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Said Business School at Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
