Bio
David Edgerton teaches in the History Department at King's College London, where he is Hans Rausing Professor of the History of Science and Technology and Professor of Modern British History. He has written on the history of the British military industrial complex in many works including Warfare State (Cambridge 2005) and Britain’s War Machine (Penguin, 2011). He is also the author of Quoi de neuf ?: Du rôle des techniques dans lhistoire globale (Seuil, 2013). He is a regular contributor to the British press and is a Fellow of the British Academy.
