Bio


Claudia Senik is a professor at the Sorbonne University and the Ecole d'Economie de Paris, she also holds positions of great importance in the field of economic research. She is the director of the Welfare Observatory at CEPREMAP (Centre for Economic Research and its Applications) and a member of the IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn). Claudia Senik, a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, holds a PhD from the EHESS (Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales). Her main areas of expertise include the economics of subjective well-being, exploring the sources of well-being at work and in enterprises, as well as analyzing women’s behaviour in school and on the labour market. Her research has significant implications for understanding and improving women’s quality of life, happiness and participation in education and the world of work.
