Bio
Clarisse Magnin is a Senior Partner and Managing Partner of McKinsey in France. She is a global leader in our Consumer (Consumer Goods, Retail, Luxury) and Sustainability practices. She is also one of McKinsey's leaders in Private Equity, as well as in Agriculture, a practice she created in France. Recognized for her expertise in ESG, she leads our Circular Economy practice worldwide, helping companies to adopt innovative, sustainable models. Clarisse Magnin is also a member of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) Council, which publishes research on economic, business, and technology trends. She has co-authored several publications on critical issues, such as plastics, waste, food transition, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the circular economy. Clarisse is a regular speaker at international forums, including the World Economic Forum in Davos and the Rencontres Économiques in Aix-en-Provence. Clarisse is very involved in topics ranging from employment to human capital. Clarisse co-founded and chaired Generation France, a non-profit organization that develops training programs for young people distanced from the labor market. She is also committed to promoting meritocracy and diversity, having initiated several initiatives in favor of gender diversity, origin diversity, LGBTQ+ and people with disability. Between 2018 and 2021, she served on in our global operating committee and as “action officer” to our Shareholders Council. She previously worked in the firm’s Boston, New Jersey, and New York offices. She holds a degree from HEC Paris and a DEA in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
