Bio
Ms. Carina Jaatinen is the director of Content Services in the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Design Museum since January 2024. She has more than 30-years’ experience in the museum and cultural heritage field both nationally and internationally. Her areas of expertise are museum development and leadership, and she has worked among others as the Director of the Museum of Finnish Architecture, as the Interim Director of Development at the National Board of Antiquities, and as the Head of Exhibitions in the Finnish Science Center Heureka. Carina Jaatinen currently serves also as the treasurer and a member of the Executive Board of International Council of Museums. She holds board positions in several Finnish museum foundations and in a family enterprise in the field of industrial trade. Her special areas of interest are in leadership and strategic development, innovative service models and client/user experience.
