Dean, Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po; Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain (2020-2021); Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (2013 to 2019); Chief of Staff of Pascal Lamy, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, and his representative (Sherpa) at the G-20 (2005-2013); Adviser to the European Commissioner for Trade and Spokesperson for the European Commission. Ms González began her career in the private sector as a partner in a German law firm, where she advised companies on trade, competition and state aid issues. Ms González holds a law degree from the University of Navarre and a postgraduate degree in European Law from the University Carlos III de Madrid.
