Bio
Alain DI CRESCENZO was born in Marseille on January 20, 1962. He graduates from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) and completed a DEA in applied mathematics at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA). He is married and a father of 3 children. For almost his entire career, he has been with the IGE+XAO Group, which he chaired for 24 years. IGE+XAO, listed on the stock exchange and present in 22 countries, is a software publisher dedicated to electrical systems design, manufacture, commissioning, and maintenance across all sectors. Since 2018, after a friendly takeover bid for IGE+XAO led by Schneider Electric, he has been the Senior Vice President at Schneider Electric. Alain DI CRESCENZO is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Caisse d'Epargne Midi-Pyrénées, Chairman of Fédération Nationale Caisses d'Epargne (FNCE) and Censor on the Supervisory Board of BPCE Group. He served as President of the Toulouse - Haute-Garonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) from 2011 to 2016, President of the Occitanie CCI, and 1st Vice-President of CCI France from 2017 to 2021. Since January 2022, he has been the President of CCI France, representing and animating the network of 122 CCI’s present throughout France, with 9,000 volunteer business owners and 14,000 employees work around three main priorities of the mandate: - Foster a culture of resilient and dedicated entrepreneurs in France -Engage in initiatives that promote intelligent, agile, and sustainable development in our territories, ultimately benefiting the French economy -Establish networks that inspire and empower individuals and organizations to excel. In addition to his professional roles, Alain DI CRESCENZO is active in charities, serving as an administrator of the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation and Télémaque. He is also a Colonel of “the French Air Force Citizens' Reserve” and a member of the ADER network. Alain DI CRESCENZO has been honored as an Officer in the Order National of Merit, an Officer in the Order of Academic Palms, and a Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honor.
