Christel HEYDEMANN

Bio

Christel Heydemann was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Orange Group on 4 April 2022. She graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique (France, 1994) and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (France). Christel Heydemann began her career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 1999, she joined Alcatel. In 2008, she was appointed to the Alcatel-Lucent’s Executive Committee as Sales Director for France and promoted in 2011 as Director of Human Resources and Transformation. In 2014, she joined Schneider Electric. In 2017, she became EVP of Schneider Electric France and a member of the Executive Committee of Schneider Electric. In 2021, she was appointed EVP, Europe Operations until the beginning of 2022, when she took a new opportunity as CEO of the Orange Group. She has been a member of Orange Board of Directors since 2017.
